The Office of Mission & Identity hosts retreats throughout the year for faculty and staff to come together, reflect, and find spiritual refreshment. 

Upcoming Retreats

The Office of Mission & Identity looks forward to presenting more retreats throughout the year for faculty and staff.

  • December 16, 7:30-2:00: Service Spiritual Retreat at Harry Tompson Center for the Unhoused Community in New Orleans followed by lunch at Dooky Chase Restaurant. 
  • January 6, 7:30-2:00: Service Spiritual Retreat at Harry Tompson Center for the Unhoused Community in New Orleans followed by lunch at Dooky Chase Restaurant. 
  • January 9, 5PM-January after lunch: Faculty Retreat, Manresa House of Retreats, Convent, LA
  • July 9-15, Jesuits Central and Southern Province Colleagues Retreat at the Jesuit Spirituality Center, Grand Coteau, LA

How to Use Your Spiritual Retreat Benefit 

The two-day spiritual retreat benefit may be applied to these retreats with the approval of your supervisor.

Previous Retreats 

 
The Little Lobos Creation Retreat: June 1 at Loyola & Audubon Park. This half-day community-building family retreat uses the framework of Finding God in All Things to engage creation on and near campus.
 
The Jesuit Colleagues Retreat: July 16-22 at any one of the 5 Central Southern Province Retreat Houses, including Manresa in Convent, Louisiana. The five-day silent retreat uses the framework of the Spiritual Exercises.
 

The Busy Loyolan Retreat: October 10-12 in Bay St. Louis, MS. A two-day retreat using the framework of the Ignatian Examen exploring the gifts and graces of the year at a deeper level. Space is limited. First come, first served. New participants will be prioritized.
